Studio on Greenwood (my studio) is for me a sublime space which allows the creative part of me to emerge. It is here I create textile art works, hand painted and dyed silk garments, scarves and home wares. I have also expanded my repertoire to include the Japanese braiding technique of Kumihimo, the European stitching technique of Soutache and polymer clay, all of which I combine to form one-off jewellery pieces.
Mediums/ surfaces used:
Silk dyeing and painting, polymer clay modelling, sewing, Kumihimo braiding, Soutache stitching and other mixed media techniques.
