Jacqui is a new, emerging artist in Brisbane. Originally from Canberra, Jacqui studied Fine Arts at the Australian National University, majoring in Print-media and Drawing. Once graduating she took a break from the arts but has recently found herself drawn back to the industry she loves!
While illustration and drawing is her main skillset, Jacqui loves to dabble in a little bit of everything, especially oil painting. Her personal works touch upon body image, body dysmorphia, sexuality and identity. However, when she’s not knee-deep in thoughts of identity, Jacqui loves to paint and illustrate portraits – specialising in pets and people. She is an avid dog lover and can be found out and about during the week with her dog Gus.
