I have admired glass pieces ever since my father brought Venetian glass home from Italy; I love the bright colours, interesting shapes and designs which can be achieved in glass. After I retired as a medical scientist I took courses in making Dichroic Jewellery, Glass Fusing and Slumping and I have participated in two webinars with international glass artists Tanya Veit and Randy Wardell. These courses inspired me to buy a Glass Kiln and experiment with many different techniques.
