An expressionist painter, Anne-Louise is interested in colour and shape conveying feeling; the viewer interacting with the painting at a subliminal level. Canvas is primed with acrylic, then oil paint applied by knife, each stroke creating textural movement. Her current work involves filling negative space with simplified flat planes.
