Join Creative Samford

Individuals, families, groups and NFP associations who have an interest in or participate in some form of creative practice are welcome to join Creative Samford.

Our membership is not limited by physical location, however all our activities are centred around the Samford and Surrounding region (predominantly 4520/4521 postcode or nearby).

Creative Samford welcomes creative persons of all kinds – from painters to poets, potters to performers!

What does your membership give you?

Membership to Creative Samford offers many benefits including opportunities to:

  • participate in the annual Samford & Surrounds Arts Trail and Open Studios
  • participate in other events such as Arts Fair, Exhibitions and other events
  • have your own page on our website which includes a gallery of your work
  • receive 4 x Creative Samford Newsletters annually
  • attend Group meetings throughout the year
  • network with other like-minded creative people
  • receive emails from the committee with information about other events/opportunities we think may be of interest

What are we about? (Objects of Association)

The principal purpose of the association is to:

  • Promote, foster and develop the arts and individual artists (visual and performing) in Samford and its surrounds.

To achieve this, the association will:

  • Work toward the establishment of a multi-faceted arts precinct that promotes community engagement designed to demonstrate and exhibit the capabilities and creative talent of local artists  and artisans.
  • Showcase the work of visual and performing artists directly to the public via exhibitions, arts trails and open studios.
  • Encourage the installation of public art within the Samford area to enhance the cultural appeal of the district
  • Support broad based community involvement and engagement in the arts.
 

Membership Fees

Creative Samford annual membership fees are:

  • $35 per person
  • $60 per family
    (up to 3 people)
  • $100 per group
    (eg. NFP member organisation/association)

Renewal invoices for existing members are sent out at the beginning of each calendar year.

How do I join?

Download and complete the Membership Application form below, then email to the Secretary and CC the Treasurer.

An invoice will be emailed back to you for payment.

Once your payment has been received, you will be sent a Welcome email from our Secretary.
