Michelle McClintock is passionate about the Australian landscape. Her paintings are filled with light and colour and convey the unique moods of this country. Her works have a playful, light hearted quality to them and she often depicts rural scenes, including small scale agricultural activities. Many of the works are painted plein air or based on the artists own photos. Michelle tends to paint all out and complete the majority of the work in a single session, occasionally coming back to it after weeks or months to add final touches or rework any sections as needed. Michelle works mainly in oil colours.
