Established more than a decade ago, the Samford & Hinterland Arts Trail is one of the region’s most loved creative events, attracting visitors from across South East Queensland and beyond.
In 2026, the Trail is bigger than ever, with 72 artists opening their studios and shared creative spaces across the hinterland. From emerging talent to experienced and internationally recognised artists, there’s something for everyone to discover.
Explore a diverse range of practices including painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics, jewellery and mixed media, with many artworks available for purchase. Visitors can also take part in artist-led workshops throughout the Trail.
Make a day—or a weekend—of it. Meet artists in their studios, enjoy local cafés and eateries, explore nearby attractions, and experience the beauty of the Moreton Bay region, all just an hour north-west of Brisbane.
